I got the job! Officially! My new boss called at 9:30 this morning on the apartment phone, which I never use...but I happened to be awake and sitting on the couch getting ready to head off to sell cookies, so I picked it up, and totally expected it to be a solicitor.... So I answered in this sort of irritated voice, and when she said "is this Rachel?" I said yes quite gruffly, because then I definitely expected her to start telling me about how she's with loan consolidation, or the fire company, or something. Hah!
